It is almost a year since we closed our doors in Maplewood NJ. 20 years was a great run and what fun both students and teachers had over those years. COVID-19 made the decision to close the physical location of the studio. It was not an easy decision but this pandemoniac has affected many of the art programs available to us.
I have been teaching art via Zoom, and while it is not the same as being in the studio with the students we all get creative and have some fun with it.
Starting in September I will once again open my classes to in person/in studio classes. Offering one a week or children age 5and up and one for adults. while still maintaining the zoom classes for those who do not feel safe going to a studio or cannot get to Marshallton PA for a class.
I will also be offering Mid-week and weekend art events here in Chester Country – we even have our own AirBnB for those wishing to stay over. Plein air and in-studio painting. Acrylic, Oil and Pastel workshops Encaustic for beginners will also be offered.
Our first art weekend will be held on October 8-10.
Arrive Friday evening with meet and greet cocktail hour.
Dinner at The Marshallton Inn (as your own expense)
Saturday – Painting en plain air in the Marshallton/Unionville area 9 – 12
Afternoon activity a visit to the Brandywine Art Museum
Dinner Saturday evening TBD.
Sunday Morning painting en plain air finishing off Sunday afternoon with Show and Tell….
